FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR YOUR PARISH AND THE IMPORTANCE OF GIFT AID
Thank you very much indeed to everyone who makes weekly use of our Card Reader or QR Code. Thank you very much indeed to everyone who has taken out a Banker’s Order for a weekly amount in favour of our parish. Please make sure that whichever of these very helpful methods you use, you also apply the ‘Gift Aid’ option. Gift Aid means that we are able to claim a further 25% of your weekly donation without you having to pay anything more!
We continue, for now, with a ‘basket collection’ during the Sunday holy Masses for anyone who has not yet moved to using the Card Reader, QR Code or Banker’s Order. Please make sure that you switch your way of supporting your parish, as soon as possible, from money in the basket, to using the Card Reader or QR Code or Banker’s Order. It’s even possible to donate on-line, on our parish website! If you would like some help to make that change, please let me know. If you put money in the basket, we can also claim, through Gift Aid, a further 25% of that donation too. To make a claim, we have to keep a written record of the weekly amount you donate to the parish. To facilitate this, please place your donation in an envelope, write your name on the outside of the envelope each time you donate in favour of your parish and then put the completed envelope in the basket, during holy Mass.
