Get Involved

Meet and greet those entering the Church for Mass. Be a part of our welcoming team.

We need to build up the team of young altar servers at weekend Masses and welcome adults to serve at weekday Masses.

Help people find their seats and manage the communion queue, particularly on special occasions when the Church is busy with visitors.

Become a Minister of the Word and read the scriptures or the Prayer of the Faithful at Mass. All parishioners are  invited to participate in the ministeries of the church.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist visit the sick, taking Communion to them at home and occasionally help distribute the host at Mass.

Help the team who prepare flowers for Sundays and special celebrations. You might also want to assist with the Church gardens. Find out about what is involved.

This great enterprise by which we can fulfil Our Blessed Lord’s command to everyone that we help others to know him, to love him and to serve him, is up and running. This is thanks to the great work and efforts of many wonderful people already. If you haven’t yet become actively involved as either a Host or a Baker, please contact the parish office. This is a wonderful way in which everyone takes part in God’s work

Help in preparing our children, teenagers and adults on their journey of faith or in providing a childrens' liturgy. Note that a Disclosure and Barring Service check is necessary to work in this area.

Counters count the money. If you have financial and business skills, let us know if you are prepared to help steward the Church's resources and buildings..
